The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay announced on April 9, 2024 that UW-Green Bay Police would install 5 Flock Safety cameras on campus within 2 days. The announcement says the data is controlled by Flock Safety, kept for no more than 60 days and then destroyed, and that the cameras document vehicles rather than people and cannot track a person or identify occupants. The notice gives no cost, no contract term, no end date and no Board of Regents action.
