Wayne County, UT Flock Contract

Who approved this?

No approval document for this contract has been found yet. The records request guide shows which office holds it.

A Utah newsroom reported that the Wayne County Sheriff's Office has published its Flock contract, ALPR policies and a transparency dashboard; that report did not load when checked, so it is not cited as a source. A search of Utah's public notice website for Wayne County agendas from 2019 to 2026 returns nothing for Flock or ALPR. The only camera item is a county commission agenda entry on October 21, 2024 reading Deputy Chief Ellett-Camera System, which does not name Flock, and the attached minutes are a scanned image with no readable text.

Renewal date pending

The contract end date has not yet been confirmed from records.

Not yet in the sources: the contract amount, the camera count, and the approval date. The city or county clerk holds the approval file, and the records request guide gives the wording to ask for it. If you already hold the document, send it in.

What happens next

Renewals are decided in public. Residents can attend the meeting, speak during public comment, and write to the office above through official channels. The ACLU publishes a model cancellation resolution officials can adapt.
