KUTV reported on July 30, 2026, in a 2News Investigates story by Wendy Halloran, that after contacting several agencies it confirmed the Sandy Police Department is among the Utah agencies with Flock contracts, along with the Ogden Police Department, the Weber County Sheriff's Office and the Draper Police Department. The story quotes Flock Safety saying it has partnered with 50 law enforcement agencies in Utah. The report does not give Sandy's camera count, contract amount, start date or term, and it names no city council vote.

Renewal date pending

The contract end date has not yet been confirmed from records.

Not yet in the sources: the contract amount, the camera count, and the approval date. The city or county clerk holds the approval file, and the records request guide gives the wording to ask for it. If you already hold the document, send it in.
