Approved by Trophy Club Town Council on July 27, 2021.
The Trophy Club Police Department runs a fixed, pole mounted Flock Safety license plate reader system that photographs the rear of a vehicle and its plate. Staff presented the proposal to the Crime Control and Prevention District board on June 23, 2021, and that board approved it on July 14, 2021. The Town Council approved the system in open session at its meeting on July 27, 2021. The department adopted an Automated License Plate Reader Access Policy setting rules for who may query the data. Plate images that produce no match are deleted after 30 days. The town does not publish the camera count, the contract total or the term on this page.
