Who approved this?
Approved 6-1 by Keller City Council on November 20, 2023.
The Keller City Council approved the Flock Safety automated license plate reader purchase on November 7, 2023 by a 4 to 3 vote. Staff recorded in file 23-785 that Council Member Shannon Dubberly reported his yea vote should have been a nay, so the item came back for reconsideration. On November 20, 2023 the council adopted Resolution No. 4725 by 6 ayes to 1 nay, with Dubberly the only nay. Mayor Pro Tem Ross McMullin made the motion and Council Member Jessica Juarez seconded it. The Legistar files for 23-696 and 23-785 carry no dollar figure, camera count, term length, retention period or funding source. The published vote list gives names without office titles, so only McMullin and Juarez are titled from the record itself.
