Who approved this?

Approved by Millington Board of Mayor and Aldermen.

The Millington Board of Mayor and Aldermen adopted Resolution 3-2024 on January 8, 2024, approving a new contract with Flock Group for maintenance and support of the police department's 19 cameras at $47,500 a year for 5 years, with an option to renew for 2 more. The resolution says the department first paid for the system with grant money from the Shelby County Commission and treats Flock as a sole source because it lets Millington share images with Collierville, Germantown and Memphis. It was signed by Mayor Terry G. Jones and does not record a vote tally.
