Millcreek Township approved a license agreement in November 2025 covering 5 Flock Safety cameras on the Millcreek Mall complex, which is owned by Cafaro. Erie Reader reported on April 20, 2026 that the license agreement runs between the township and Cafaro, and that no contract amendments came up at two scheduled meetings in March 2026. Supervisor Jim Bock addressed the cameras on January 27, 2026, and the township issued a press release on February 9, 2026 saying access to camera data is limited to authorized law enforcement personnel. Residents raised security concerns at a February 10, 2026 meeting. Erie News Now reported on July 28, 2026 that supervisors were set to hear more resident comment. The subscription amount, the term length and the funding source have not been published.
