KLCC reported on December 6, 2025 that the Lane County Sheriff's Office had contracted with Flock but had not installed cameras as of late October 2025. The Register-Guard reported that the sheriff's office would end its contract with Flock Safety on December 10, saying the Eugene and Springfield terminations reduced the value of shared data. Sheriff's staff had proposed a network of 22 cameras at high-traffic areas in the county, including a site presented to the Veneta City Council on November 24. The reports give no contract amount or approving vote.
