Marietta, OK Flock Contract

Canceled

Who approved this?

No source names who approved this contract. That gap is common where a purchase cleared without a council vote.

Marietta Police Department Chief Brett Harris halted a proposed Flock Safety agreement during a Thursday night Marietta City Council meeting, and council members then voted the measure down unanimously, KTEN reported on August 20, 2026. A day earlier, KTEN reported that 5 Flock cameras had been temporarily installed at major entrances to Marietta since early July. At the meeting, a Flock spokesperson on Zoom said the camera data is kept indefinitely, and Harris said the department had agreed only to a 30-day limit. Harris then told the room that Marietta city limits would not have Flock cameras. KXII reported on September 2, 2026 that the Marietta council voted in August against renewing the city's contract with the company. No document found states the cost or terms of the trial, the vote date or how each council member voted.
