The Nevada Independent reported that the Clark County School District Police Department reaches Flock Safety cameras maintained by other local agencies and businesses, and that neither the district nor its police department has a Flock camera on any district property. A department memo covering that access took effect on August 25, 2026 and limits use to the Investigations Bureau. Access is documented back to at least August 21, 2024 under an existing memorandum of understanding. The district received quotes for a school safety package and for a mobile security trailer put at 25,000 dollars a year, and did not adopt either. No school board vote is on record.
Renewal date pending
The contract end date has not yet been confirmed from records.
