Bernalillo County, NM Flock Contract

Active

Who approved this?

No source names who approved this contract. That gap is common where a purchase cleared without a council vote.

Six Board of County Commissioners administrative meeting agendas from May through August 2024 were read on the county's own portal and none carries a Flock, ALPR or license plate reader item. The nearest candidate, a BCSO Law Enforcement Technology Upgrade adopted on August 27, 2024, names Carahsoft, Peregrine Technologies and Mobile Concepts and does not mention Flock. The portal's document search is form-post only and bernco.gov refuses automated reading, so a full agenda search was not possible.

Renewal date pending

The contract end date has not yet been confirmed from records.

Not yet in the sources: the contract amount, the camera count, and the approval date. The city or county clerk holds the approval file, and the records request guide gives the wording to ask for it. If you already hold the document, send it in.

What happens next

Renewals are decided in public. Residents can attend the meeting, speak during public comment, and write to the office above through official channels. The ACLU publishes a model cancellation resolution officials can adapt.
