The DeSoto Times reported on August 27, 2026 that Horn Lake Mayor Jimmy Stokes said his city has 10 Flock cameras in use. Stokes said only seasoned officers and 911 operators have access, that the police chief monitors the system, and that searches are limited to stolen cars, cars associated with a felony and Amber alerts. He said that before Horn Lake had the cameras, Southaven gave its police access to help catch a murder suspect on Highway 51. The article gives no contract amount, approval date, board vote, term or funding source.
