Spencer County, KY Flock Contract

Active

Who approved this?

Approved by Spencer County Fiscal Court.

The Spencer County Fiscal Court voted unanimously at a March 4 meeting to buy the minimum of 2 license plate readers from Flock, along with a two year contract covering installation, footage storage and updates, at a price of 6,000 dollars. The Spencer Magnet reported that the readers would be placed at the main arteries coming into the county. The same report said officials hoped Taylorsville and the school system would add units of their own. Spencer County posts fiscal court minutes online only through December 2023 and directs later requests to the County Clerk, so the year of the vote could not be pinned to a county document.
