Noble County, IN Flock Contract

Suspended

Who approved this?

No source names who approved this contract yet. The city clerk holds the approval file.

21Alive reported on September 10, 2026 that Noble County Sheriff Max Weber asked Flock Safety to remove the county cameras as of September 9, 2026, after vandals cut down 6 camera poles and replacements took weeks. Weber said he still backs the system and called it a good tool for criminal and traffic investigations, but that the repeated damage cost more than the county budget could carry. The report gives no camera count, dollar figure, approval date, approving body or term length.

Use suspended

Camera use is suspended. The contract itself has not been reported terminated.

Not yet in the sources: the contract amount, the camera count, and the approval date. The city or county clerk holds the approval file, and the records request guide gives the wording to ask for it. If you already hold the document, send it in.
