Approved by Henry County Board of Commissioners.
The Henry County Police Department had 10 Flock license plate reader cameras in use for 18 months when county commissioners approved its request for 50 more in September 2020. The Henry Reporter put the cost of the 50 cameras at $112,500 for the first 12 months, with the annual lease rising to $135,000 the next year. The report of September 28, 2020 does not give the meeting date, the vote count or how the county would pay. No minutes of that vote were found. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on July 18, 2026 that Henry County officer Patrick Isbell was fired and charged after an internal audit found he used Flock plate data for non-law enforcement purposes. No document found shows the county ending, pausing or renewing the Flock contract, and none states the current camera count or an end date.
