Dunwoody, GA Flock Contract

Who approved this?

Approved by Dunwoody City Council.

The Dunwoody City Council voted unanimously in April 2026 to approve a 1-year, $15,000 contract for Flock Safety's 911 dispatch software, the Atlanta Press Collective reported on April 14, 2026. The council had put the item off twice over Flock's contract terms, the use of city data to train Flock's systems and reports of security flaws in Flock hardware and software. WSB-TV reported that at its March 23, 2026 meeting the council voted unanimously to pause renewing the $200,000 camera contract. The police department's Flock portal listed 436 cameras with 30-day retention on July 24, 2026. The sources do not say whether the camera renewal later passed or when the camera contract ends.
