Atlanta, GA Flock Contract

Active

Who approved this?

Approved by Atlanta City Council.

The ACLU of Georgia said on June 15, 2026 that the Atlanta City Council was considering renewing the city's contract with Flock Safety for license plate readers at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and it urged the council not to renew. A later ACLU of Georgia video post says the council voted to renew in June 2026. Neither source gives the vote date, tally, amount or term.

Renewal date pending

The contract end date has not yet been confirmed from records.

Not yet in the sources: the contract amount, the camera count, and the approval date. Atlanta City Council holds the approval file, and the records request guide gives the wording to ask for it. If you already hold the document, send it in.

What happens next

Renewals are decided in public. Residents can attend the meeting, speak during public comment, and write to the office above through official channels. The ACLU publishes a model cancellation resolution officials can adapt.
