Haines City police officer Christopher Goodson was arrested on August 11, 2026 and charged with offenses against computer users and with official misconduct, after an affidavit said he queried the Flock database 717 times to track his estranged wife's vehicle between September 1, 2024 and June 30, 2026. FOX 13 Tampa Bay reported that Goodson had been with the department since March 2022, was placed on paid administrative leave, and intended to resign. Police Chief Isaac Jackson said the department does not tolerate the misuse, unauthorized access, or personal use of any investigative databases or law enforcement information systems. Jackson ordered quarterly reviews to check that staff access the system for legitimate law enforcement purposes. The department said it will keep using Flock cameras as an investigative tool. A Flock Group Inc. law enforcement agreement is posted in the city's meeting portal, but that file could not be retrieved, so the camera count, contract value, term and funding source are not documented here.
