Daytona Beach Police Department has a plate reader contract with Flock Group Inc. that was first approved by resolution 2024-014 with an annual service fee of $83,500, according to the City Commission agenda for December 17, 2025. That agenda listed a resolution to amend the contract as item 8.B on the consent agenda. After the state revoked permits for plate readers on state roads, the department said in a statement published by ClickOrlando in September 2026 that it will fully comply with the plans and guidelines set by the state. The statement does not say whether any cameras were turned off or whether the contract will end. No document found gives the date of resolution 2024-014, the result of the vote on the amendment, the camera count, the contract term or the funding source.
Renewal date pending
The contract end date has not yet been confirmed from records.
Not yet in the sources: the contract amount, the camera count, and the approval date. The city or county clerk holds the approval file, and the records request guide gives the wording to ask for it. If you already hold the document, send it in.
