Waterford, CT Flock Contract

The Day reported on November 3, 2025, in an article by Alison Cross carried by Government Technology, that at least 45 Connecticut departments held a Flock partnership and named Waterford among them, alongside Connecticut State Police, Groton City, Groton Town, East Lyme, Ledyard, Montville, Norwich, Stonington, the Preston Resident State Troopers Office and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Police. WFSB reported on May 28, 2026 that Waterford runs 4 cameras, at Route 1 and Willetts Avenue, on Waterford Parkway North near Lowe's, at Hartford Turnpike and Interstate 395, and at Hartford Turnpike and Harvey Avenue. Access is limited to Connecticut law enforcement, immigration and reproductive care searches are prohibited, and federal requests are blocked. The department redacted its search reasons for the April 2024 through March 2026 period, citing active investigations. Routine audits require a case number, the date and time, and the officer name. No contract, order form, dollar amount, term length, funding source, approving body or approval vote was found for Waterford.
