Clemson police have used a Flock system for years, per WSPA coverage of the department’s surveillance program and its recent upgrades. No cited source documents the approval. The city department is distinct from Clemson University police, whose campus use appears in Flock audit logs without a citable record so far. The City of Clemson's own news item of December 15, 2025 confirms the police department installed new technology but names no vendor, no approving body, no date, no cost and no camera count. The city's agenda portal runs as a JavaScript application that returns no readable document text and its other pages refuse automated requests, so no council agenda, minutes, resolution, contract or procurement posting could be read.
