The Arkansas Advocate reported on August 19, 2026 that Greers Ferry was among at least six Arkansas cities that ended Flock contracts or let them expire since the end of July 2026. KATV reported that the city signed with Flock Safety in 2024 for five license plate reader cameras. That same report described the city removing one camera outside the home of residents Charlie and Angie Wolf after the Institute for Justice sent a letter on July 17 warning of Fourth Amendment problems, with the police chief refusing the request before the letter arrived. The count of cameras still in service when the contract ended is not documented.
